Description

The depth of protection Is utilized for stable ground lines typical for ranch fencing or
internal trellis poles for vineyards, orchards and hops. Poles that are expensive, on an angle, Or have significant liability Should always be wrapped with at least 20 in. ROTBLOC. For best results use our 30 in. Wide product. 13.5 in. X 180 ft. For stable ground lines.

ROTBLOC was initially invented for chemically treated wood poles which are presently more vulnerable than even a decade ago with the legal limits of chemicals being reduced, and some chemicals even being banned in some states, such as Penta. After ROTBLOC was utilized for treated wood, it was then approved by the WSDA for organic use.

ROTBLOC is approved and listed on the WSDA website under organic devices legal to use on organic farms and ranches. ROTBLOC has also been approved in Canada bypro-cert and pacs for organic applications.

Untreated wood poles will not last as long compared to chemically treated poles. ROTBLOC’s success on untreated poles is relative to the wood species, condition of the pole, your environment and how well you applied rotbloc to your pole.

ROTBLOC is made from 100% recycled material sourced in the pacific northwest.
ROTBLOC is 100% recyclable tested and proven
in field studies initiated and managed by
Oregon state university’s wood science and research department in Hilo, Hawaii.

Every year for the past 6 years these tests have demonstrated that ROTBLOC has prevented the chemicals with conventionally treated wood from leaching into the surrounding soil,  and has not broken down under extreme uva and environmental pressures. ROTBLOC has successfully maximized the service life of the wood posts and units used in the study.

What are ROTBLOC products and how do they work?

ROTBLOC products are durable polyethylene barrier systems designed to help protect wood posts, beams, joists, and other ground-contact wood structures from moisture intrusion and premature deterioration. Installed around critical exposure areas, ROTBLOC barriers create a protective layer that helps extend the service life of treated wood in demanding environments.

Can ROTBLOC products be installed on existing structures?

Yes. ROTBLOC products can be installed during new construction or added to existing structures, depending on the application. The flexible material allows for easy installation while providing long-lasting protection in a wide range of residential, commercial, and agricultural environments.

Are ROTBLOC products environmentally safe?

Absolutely. ROTBLOC products are manufactured from recycled and repurposed polyethylene sourced in the United States and are fully recyclable. The products provide a durable protective barrier without relying on additional chemical treatments.

How durable are ROTBLOC products?

ROTBLOC products are designed for long-term durability in outdoor environments exposed to moisture, soil contact, and changing weather conditions. The heavy-duty polyethylene construction helps maintain product integrity while protecting wood components from premature decay and deterioration.
